Dad's Day Triptych

Happy Father's Day! Or, at least Happy Almost Father's Day! The ginger princes have a fantastic daddy. He makes us all laugh, and gives great snuggle hugs! We wanted to do something extra special for him, so we came up with this project.

I was inspired to do this from another blogger, http://ttbowtique.blogspot.com/. I don't have three little ones (fortunately, or unfortunately...not sure yet), but it worked great with the ginger princes. I cut out a letter "A" and a letter "D" from some cardboard. Then I brought out the Mod Podge, this was actually my first time using it and I really don't know why I was so hesitant before! I took out my scrap paper and went to work gluing the pieces onto the letters, and then trimming them up. Super easy!

Next, the ginger princes and I went outside and took some snaps of them holding the letter "D" and then holding the letter "A" together. My oldest prince has this really crazy smile right now, so at about 50 shots in, I decided that daddy would have to enjoy what the moment had created. I printed them out and popped them into a large mat-less frame. I think it turned out great! We are so excited to show daddy!

Hope you have a great day with your dad(s)!
