Simple Spring Art Project

I made some more spring-themed artwork. The whole project made we wish it was green outside. Don't get me wrong, I love that the snow is just about all but melted, but that dead grass stuff is well, just gross. I am constantly vacuuming. My vacuum and I actually have a relationship. I talk to it and it talks to me, everyday, three times a day. Yup, just me and my vacuum, cleaning up the dead grass the ginger princes scatter throughout the house. Good times. Anyway, I digress. Where was I? Oh yeah. I made some more artwork.

My inspiration was a cute little bird on a clip from non other than the dollar store (one of my favorite places).

I then rummaged in my basement for a frame that I had bought months ago and then I chopped off a small branch from one of our trees outside. I put them all together and then held it all in place with a little hot glue and then that was it. THEN, I decided that the bird was not my color and I hauled it out to the dead grass and spray painted him all white. Only then was I truly happy with the arrangement.

Hope this project inspires you to do something fun this week!
