We actually did this project a year or so ago, but everyday that I see it, it amazes me that my husband and I did it! It looked easy enough to do, but actually was a bit harder than we anticipated. I was inspired to do the wainscoting from a magazine. The whole thing cost us about $200 in materials and then we were off to the races! It took a whole weekend to complete, but well worth the time and energy. Plus it's always nice to put a stamp on your home that is uniquely yours to enjoy.

I love this. I just did my first board and batten project and I'm thinking of doing something like this in my formal dining room. It's great to see what I've pictured in my head on someone else's wall!
